Football Tournament 29-Jun 2025 FOR MEN’S COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS
After a very successful first event last year, the Devon WFC is organising the next South West South representative tournament at the Manor & Ashbury Resort (Manorandashburyresorts.co.uk) on 29-June 2025.
The tournament is by invitation only, and the organisation of the teams/players is up to each county.
The intention is to have at least one representative team per South West South County (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset) in the age groups 50+, 60+, and 70+ plus county representative teams across all age groups per county from other counties wanting to participate in the tournament.
Please coordinate the registration of the county teams with Hugo Doswald, Secretary of the Devon WFC via WhatsApp (0778 070 1231) and/or email (secretary@devonwalkingfc.co.uk). He is also the point person for any questions/queries you might have about the tournament.
In case there are not enough teams / players for an age group, the Devon WFC reserves the right to adjust the age groups accordingly. The cost to participate is £5 per player and can be paid in cash/contactless/apple pay/google pay on the day with contactless payments clearly the easiest and preferred choice. Cash payments on the day will be collected by the team captains for their team.

Please note that all players are required to be individually registered with the WFA and either the Devon WFC (event organiser) or their respective county organisation to have WFA insurance cover.
Accommodation
The Devon WFC has successfully negotiated very competitive preferential rates for 1-night, 2-night, or 3-night overnight stays at the Ashbury Resort (part of Manor & Ashbury Resorts) including the full access to all leisure activities including golf (https://www.manorandashburyresorts.co.uk/golf/green-fees/).
A limited number of single rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.
